Why we debate lapel width for hours..

In vital matters, however, such as the choice of a mate or a profession, the decision should come from the unconscious, from somewhere within ourselves. In the important decisions of personal life, we should be governed, I think, by the deep inner needs of our nature.

To the #menswear brethren: Heed this advice. It’s not new, and it’ll never get old.
It is a good thing to want to learn the importance of fit, the significance of proportion and the relevance of balance with respect to your dress. It is a better thing to dress for your context and to not merely imitate everyone else, lest you look like an awkward soul in someone else’s clothes.
Be yourself. It is perhaps the greatest thing you’ll ever do.

The only way to atone for being occasionally a little over-dressed is by being always absolutely over-educated.
